GOOGLE OFFERS HACKERS $1 MILLION TO CRACK THEIR BROWSER

Web giant Google is offering a reward of $1 million to people who can engineer a fully functional exploit that punches a security hole in its Chrome web browser. The search giant has once again chosen the Cansecwest security conference to announce the competition, noting that developing a fully functional exploit is “significantly more work” than finding and reporting a potential security bug.
Posting on the Google Chrome Security Blog, Chris Evans and Justin Schuh from the Google Chrome Security Team explained that the aim of the sponsorship is simple. They said, “We have a big learning opportunity when we receive full end-to-end exploits. Not only can we fix the bugs, but by studying the vulnerability and exploit techniques we can enhance our mitigations, automated testing, and sandboxing. This enables us to better protect our users.”

JAMES IROHA A.K.A. GRINGORY, DIES AT 69

Veteran Nigerian actor Chief James Akwari Iroha Popularly known as “GRINGORY” reportedly died yesterday at the age of 69.
Known for his part in the popular 80s Nigerian television show “New Masquerade”, where he reprised the role of Gringory, Ihora was said to have suffered an eye ailment in the years before his death.
Before his death, Gringory was living in abject poverty and cried out in vain for rehabilitation.
He was said to be suffering from an eye ailment.
His son, Akwari James Iroha, confirmed Gringory’s death in a post on Facebook
“Not long ago a man we have all come to love, a man that has made us laugh, a friend to all but will always be Dad to my little sister Ugonma, my brothers Chiemela, Uche, Kelechi and me passed on.”
He is third member of the popular comedic soap to have passed on. Christy Essien Igbokwe, who played the role of Apena and Claude Ake, also known as Jegede Sokoya also passed on.
James Iroha was only months shy of his 70th birthday.
